Wentao is a dedicated maths tutor currently studying a combined Bachelor of Education (Honours) and Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Psychology. With an ATAR in the low 90s and senior studies in both Specialist and Mathematical Methods, he has a solid grasp of the curriculum right through to the senior years. This tutor understands what is required for strong exam performance and can clearly explain concepts to help students move from confusion to confidence.

Wentao has wanted to be a maths teacher since middle school and is strongly motivated by seeing students leave lessons feeling happier and less stressed. His psychology studies inform the way he supports students who feel anxious about maths, using calm, step-by-step explanations and plenty of encouragement. He focuses on building a positive mindset towards maths so that students feel comfortable asking questions and are proud of their progress.
