What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find it very rewarding when a student finally understands and is able to apply the knowledge I taught. As a student myself, I know that not only is this feeling of having a difficult concept finally "clicking" amazing, it also builds overall self-confidence in your capabilities which is an extremely important and healthy mindset to have in times of academic stress.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is that I have completed my HSC only a few months ago, so I am confident that most of my knowledge in high school maths remain. Having informally tutored my younger sibling from time to time, I have developed a lot of patience and care in explaining concepts. Another strength of mine is that my teaching style is very flexible, as I can adjust my teaching methods and tone to better suit his needs.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to create a engaging, supportive and enjoyable learning environment. From my own experience as a student who has received tutoring, I’ve found that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and aren’t afraid to make mistakes. Tutoring can be a very valuable extension from the collective learning at school, so another important thing a tutor can do for students is to provide that tailored help designed for each and every student that can support them to achieve their goals and build on confidence.
