What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Tutoring brings me a sense of fulfilment because I get to see the impact that my effort and dedication have on my studentsβ progress and their lives. Watching my students gain confidence and reach their potential whilst fostering a positive learning experience is what I enjoy the most when tutoring.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
My strengths as a tutor include my communication skills, which allow me to break down difficult concepts and make them understandable, and my ability to cater to various learning styles. Another one of my strengths is my interpersonal skills, enabling me to build rapport with my students and make lessons engaging. Furthermore, having been a student who attended tutoring myself, I understand firsthand the skills and qualities that make up an effective tutor, including the ability to listen and apply constructive feedback to improve lessons.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Some of the most important things that a tutor can do for a student are provide mentorship, actively listen, create a safe space for students to make mistakes, and offer constructive feedback. Another essential aspect is to adapt their teaching style to suit their student rather than forcing the students to adapt.
