What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the process of helping someone learn, passing through my knowledge and I really enjoy working on maths. I think that the idea of teaching someone or helping someone with what they struggle with is very good and rewarding for both me and the student when we achieve a goal.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am fluent in both English and Mandarin, so I'm able to communicate well to students who's english may not be fully fluent. I also did VCE general maths, math methods and specialist maths, so I have a lot of experience with different kinds of maths. I'm also a very friendly person and get along with a lot of people quite easily, which would help me make the tutoring sessions more welcoming and enjoyable for the students

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think a tutor needs to be knowledgable in what they teach so they can properly help the students understand the content and help them learn. But other than this, I think a tutor should also be friendly, encouraging and supportive to help the student enjoy and stay positive throughout the lessons. I think that a positive mentality is very important for students to learn more effectively.
