What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
What I enjoy most about tutoring is that moment when something finally clicks for a student — you can literally see the shift in their expression when confusion turns into understanding. It's deeply rewarding to be part of that process.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths is patience. Math is a subject where a lot of students carry anxiety and self-doubt, so I always make sure they feel comfortable asking "basic" questions without any judgment. There's no such thing as a silly question in my sessions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Here's a math-focused answer for that question:
First and foremost, I think the most important thing a tutor can do is build a student's confidence. So many students come to math tutoring already convinced they're "not a math person." Before any real learning can happen, you need to break down that mental barrier and help them believe they're capable. Confidence and comprehension feed each other — as one grows, so does the other.
