What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities and seeing the moment when it clicks for them when understanding concepts. Throughout high school, I was often the person my classmates turned to for help with difficult topics, assignments, and exam preparation. I found it rewarding to explain concepts in ways that made sense to different people and to see their confidence and results improve. As my School's Dux with an ATAR of 96.5, I understand how to apply effective study strategies and to help others achieve similar goals.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Two of my biggest strengths is my patience and approachableness. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts in multiple ways until they make sense. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning so they can solve similar problems independently. I also provide detailed, constructive feedback on assignments, helping students identify areas for improvement while building on strengths. My strong academic background as School Dux (ATAR 96.5), combined with my approachable nature, also gives me a strong edge.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe tutors should adapt their teaching style to suit each student's learning needs, encourage them to ask questions without fear of making mistakes, and provide clear explanations that strengthen their understanding rather than just helping them memorise answers.
