What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The main thing I have enjoyed about tutoring is witnessing my students start to enjoy the process of learning. It is truly gratifying to see them start to actively seek ways of deepening their knowledge and challenging themselves. While it is a great feeling to see their grades improve, it is an even greater success to see their confidence and curiosity grow.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my main strength is my compassion and ability to make the students feel comfortable. Teaching is only as effective as a student's ability to listen, and a student will be more willing to listen in an environment that is supportive, safe, and casual. It also ensures that my students are never too intimidated to ask questions or too afraid to let me know if they are still confused.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think the most important thing a tutor can do is to help students see the beauty in learning. This is achieved by a point I've made previously: creating a supportive, safe environment where a student can ask questions without shame. By doing so, the students willingly seek knowledge and see their mistakes as room for improvement as opposed to faults. It helps them develop independence in their academics, as well as keep them motivated, and find enjoyment in studying.
