What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is that the flow of knowledge goes both ways. While my role is to teach and guide students, I have found that I learn just as much from them through their unique perspectives, questions, and ways of thinking. From my past experience as a tutor, I can confidently say that my students have taught me valuable lessons that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. I also love that tutoring is a creative process, where every student requires a different approach, making each lesson engaging, rewarding, and enjoyable.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
student has unique learning needs, abilities, and learning styles, so I tailor my teaching approach to suit each individual. I also take the time to identify the areas where students struggle and adjust my explanations and teaching strategies accordingly. By following a student-centred approach, I create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to build confidence, develop a deeper understanding of the subject, and achieve their academic goals.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that understanding each student is one of the most important things a tutor can do. Every student learns differently, so taking the time to recognise their strengths, challenges, and learning style helps create a more effective and supportive learning experience. I also encourage students to think creatively and explore different approaches to solving problems. For example, rather than insisting on a single method for solving a mathematics problem, I encourage students to develop and explain their own strategies.
