What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I love most about tutoring is being able to guide and mentor students to help them to reach their own performance goals. To me, every student is unique as they each have a different goal that they want to achieve. Everyone learns differently and I believe that finding the right method for them is the key to success.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My three core strengths are my adaptability, communication proficiency and my ability to problem solving. Having just graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Queensland, I have been constantly working with complex mathematical concepts which have helped me to foster my strong problem solving skills. My adaptability skills and communication with students have been showcased through my 4 years of tutoring experience as well as my experience in industry internships and client work.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

As a tutor I will assist the student in the best way I can to help them reach their target. Understanding the criteria for each assessment is the first step as it is vital to be aware of what the markers are looking for. Developing healthy study habits are also super important as being efficient with your learning can be the difference between studying 24/7 and feeling disappointed after not reaching your goals, and studying for a few hours each day and achieving high.
