What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Back in my Math AI high-level course in IB, I always asked my tutor the purpose of studying complex theories like calculus when I wanted to be an economist. He surprisingly said that the more complex a math problem is, the more possible solutions there are, and the better it trains your critical thinking. Now I enjoy understanding my students' perspectives and encouraging them to explain the rationale behind their work process, guiding them to formulate solutions. They often find that more of an achievement than finally solving the problem, and seeing that makes me proud too.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

1. I actively listen to students' needs and try to maximise both their learning outcomes as well as their motivation to learn. 2. I am a responsible tutor. I am always happy to prepare my own notes, tailor teaching styles for students with different circumstances, and always happy to answer student questions outside of class.
