What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

What I enjoy most about tutoring is perhaps the moment where you realise that a student has finally understood a topic he/she had been struggling with. It makes all the preparations and hard work seem worth it and it encourages you to keep going forward.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think my strength lies in my passion for the subjects I have taught. My experience has mainly been in Economics and I feel that it was a success because I found the subject appealing and very interesting and when students see such a passion, it improves their willingness to understand the subject. I also think that I am very friendly and can be a friend to a student, whilst keeping the professional line strong.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to make the student love a subject because if this happens, the improvement will follow mechanically. A tutor should be able to make the student challenge himself and want to improve for his own sake. The tutor must also make sure that the morale of the student remains high as he should remember that the purpose of tutoring is to promote learning and making mistakes forms part of the learning process.
