What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
It is a very rewarding job that is beyond just teaching but to be involved in the process of growth, building confidence and sharing the joy that comes with improvement. I love that my energy, patience and trust can motivate the student to not give up and reach their potential. But more importantly, through tutoring, I can build lasting relationships that is intellectually intriguing and emotionally fulfilling.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I can relate and truly emotionally connect with the student. I believe that my role extends beyond a tutor, but a friend, a motivator, a listener. Recently graduated from high school this year, I understand student's concerns, whether it be the stress from the HSC or just fights between friends because I was once in their shoes. More importantly, I believe something that set me apart from other candidate was that I self-taught most of the time. Therefore, my approach to the subjects and exercises are very much from a student's perspective rather than a teacher's.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing that I can do for a student is to help them achieve their goals, whether it be getting better grades, building confidence or developing interest in a subject. Obviously all students that seek out tutoring need help but it does not necessarily about achieving an A but at the end of the day, to reach their goals. Therefore, according to each student's needs, I will make it my mission in every session to lead them closer to achieve that goal.
