What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy: 1) learning about how students learn 2) being able to speak to students in a way that they can understand and; 3) increasing student's ability to think critically rather than passively

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strength as a tutor is having the ability to determine a student's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Student interests and strengths can be used to help them learn about something new (it enables them to transfer their understanding from their strength/interest to something new).

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important things that a tutor can do for a student are to listen, be prepared and to facilitate learning rather than giving away answers (this encourages students to think critically and to form a deeper understanding).
