What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love helping people understand concepts and seeing the enjoyment when they get something that they may have been struggling with. I love helping children and cherish the fact that I would have the ability to make them learn to trust themselves and unlock their true potential.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient and am a very fast learner. I can grasp new concepts very quickly and know that there are a number of different routes to the same answer. Given that schools often like to teach their own specific way, I am certain that I would have no trouble aiding the student in the processes that the school requires of them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Listen and teach. I think it is so important for students to be listened to and helped accordingly. They must be given the space to work through problems they are facing themselves so that they can believe in their own abilities and increase their own self-efficacy. It is vital that the student can not only regurgitate an answer or process but they must fully understand that concept and the only way a tutor can know if the student has done so is to have the student talk through their reasoning and for the tutor to be actively engaged and listening.
