What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Children response to my efforts to give them instructions when giving tennis classes is spontaneous and direct. Sometimes is quite challenging to have their attention and this is always a motivation to find out a different way or a different exercise to keep them interested ad motivated. This challenge maintains my level of interest in connecting with my students allowing my own development of strategies to communicate, supervise and keep their attention. In fact, what really motivates me is my own learning process on how to deal with different student-related situations

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My main strength is my capacity to connect with my students, understanding when and if something is not going accordingly to plan. This skill allows me to make the necessary changes to achieve my goal of giving them the information needed to perform better in their own activities, in special as tennis players. Besides, as we live in a highly connected environment, with easy access to information over the internet, my previous IT skills will allow me to help them search and understand information collected via websites, creating a whole model of knowledge.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must be an example to be followed, with his integrity, ethical values and motivation. The understanding the student's abilities, capacities and weakness are essential to creating a good level of communication and the development of a good strategy to achieve goals. The tutor skill of managing challenges in such a way that will build up the student's confidence and knowledge are essential to creating a strong respectful relationship. All that will allow the tutor to have a good level of understanding of each unique student profile, helping to build a strong tutor-student connection.
