What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As a lifelong learner, I enjoy the learning experience that comes with tutoring. Every one of my past students have taught me something new about myself - from my personality to gaps in my knowledge. But above all that, the tutoring experience has taught me how I can improve my tutoring style for future tutoring endeavours.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My greatest strength is my communication. I make a concerted effort to collaborate with my students when developing their learning plans. A strong focus on goal setting and benchmarking is essential for the students' academic success and accountability. Collaboration with parents is also key to a successful tutoring experience. In my past roles, I have always provided progress reports to parents to help them benchmark their child's learning.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The tutor must create an environment of trust and respect to foster the tutor-tutee relationship. This in turn will make the student feel more accountable to the tutor to do well.
