What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy seeing a student being enthusiastic about learning and watching them realize that they can achieve something that they previously couldn't. I also love tailoring education to specific student needs. As well as this, i am crazy about science and medicine, and anything that involves passing on that love to other students and encouraging their inquisitive sides is an amazing opportunity.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My strengths are: - enthusiasm for teaching and encouraging students to ask "why?" - using analogies and examples from every day life that makes difficult concepts easier to grasp - patience with students, especially ones that are timid or shy - wide vocabulary and love for creative writing/poetry - getting students excited about learning and about progressing their skills - instilling confidence in students with low self-esteem or doubts about their abilities (from personal experience)

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing is making the student feel comfortable with you, but also maintaining an atmosphere of "work time" so that the session is as productive as possible. An understanding that children, especially younger ones, cannot focus on tedious tasks as well as adults want them to, is very important to have as a tutor. Breaking up tasks into small sections for younger students is essential. A student also needs to feel comfortable saying "I don't know how to do this" or "I'm confused", therefore being patient and understanding is crucial as a tutor.
