What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy helping people immensely, and I consider myself to be an academic person and tutoring combines these two! I myself have struggled with school in the past and my previous tutors have been so wonderful in helping me love learning and inspiring me to work hard. I'd really love to pass that on to other people!

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I consider myself to be very approachable and friendly person! I encourage students to ask questions if they have any problems at all and I have whole knowledge of the Extension Maths and Mathematical Methods courses. I'm also skilled in explaining concepts in a multitude of ways and assessing and generating methods of learning that are useful to each individual student. I am also experienced in creating lesson plans and activities that are useful for students to deepen their understanding of various ideas and concepts.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

While I believe academic progress is important, the most important things that a tutor can do for a student is ensure that they feel comfortable in going to their classes and assessments. I think it is extremely important that the student feels confident in their abilities and I think that tutors should help however they can to do this as well as attempt to reduce any stress around school that a student has- I believe that is when students unlock their full potential.
