What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
The creation of new relationships between the students and the teacher is what I enjoyed the most about tutoring. With new found relations, students are then able to burst out of their bubble and continuously ask for guidance. Allowing students to understand topics quicker and to also memorise content quicker. Thus hoping for students to find their strengths and weaknesses, and hence finding their study habits which will aid them in the future.
My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
Patience and understanding is a key strength for tutors. As I was being tutored I had admired how patient my tutor was, as I was sometimes stubborn. But with time I as a student was able to study whilst enjoying time spent with my tutor, as she understood how differently I chose to solve equations, allowing me to be more academically motivated. As compared to teachers they have a tendency to go alongside with what the books write, but with tutors they guide students to answering the problems individually, hence finding their own way of problem solving.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Tutors are a guide and mentor for students. Tutors help students achieve their goal without any expectations, whether students have scored something high or low, the important thing a tutor can do for a student is to keep them motivated, uplifting them from any anxieties and stresses. For I believe that creating a bond between a student and teacher is crucial, for time spent between a tutor and a student should differ from the relationship between a teacher and a students.
