What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

the change I see in my students - especially their confidence When I come to their house, the smile and eagerness of the student warms my heart. I like to learn a bit about the child's other activities.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

- organisational skills - I write down what I need to review or teach, and then what was learned, what was too hard. - ability to assess student quickly - talk to the student, ask questions, try to make some of the lesson fun. - my passion, I enjoy my work - I prepare for each lesson

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

- 1. build rapport - otherwise there will not be enough learning - 2. be consistent -3. don't lie - be genuine - 4. work at student's pace, then pull them up -5. patience. repetition, but in different words -6. plenty of verbal praise -7. talk to them as well, not just the parents (validate student)
