What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I like the interaction between student and tutor which leads to an easy time communicating and understanding each other. I like to see the improvement of my students throughout time and being able to be there when they achieve their desired results.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I bring passion to the table as a tutor. I want to be able to provide my own knowledge to the students that I am teaching in as many ways as I can for hopes that they will be able to understand. I am also a willing and fast learner, I'm able to quickly learn material and understand it before anyone else. I am able to manage my time well enough in order to get the most out of preparing for the class and the different ways to approach that day's lesson.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
One of the most important things a tutor can do for a student is provide assistance as that is the main objective of being their tutor, mentally, academically and emotionally. I understand that being a tutor does not mean being a councellor and a supporting individual for the student but during hard and harsh times, I find it appropriate for the tutors to be a listener in cases where the student is confused. I also believe that the tutor must have the caliber to handle the students they are teaching and with the same amount or even higher levels of passion for learning.

She was more confident when she was handling long division, using the larger numbers did not seem to affect her. She has a strategy to get around numbers which are out of the times-table range. Able to handle fractions decently well. She has a strategy to get around numbers which are out of the times-table range.
Needs to understand her times-tables better --> easier time and more confidence. Minor details are sometimes excluded. Rushing. Needs to backcheck more often.
She was able to complete the long division equations with no problems. Speed is also not an issue.

She was unconfident when determining the closest multiple to the required number. "What happens if I get it wrong?" She was given more long division homework to increase her confidence. More questions must be done to increase her confidence while handling numbers.
