What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I feel that I've always been a strong learner and student. Up until about year 9, I found helping people quite annoying as I wondered how couldn't someone understand this. As I've grown into now year 12 in 2022, I couldn't have been any more wrong! The sense of accomplishment that I feel when helping someone with a tricky math question or even just a dot point, is what I feel I would enjoy most. I've found within me that helping people see that anyone can do well in school with the right help is one of the most rewarding things someone can do, and I think that Ezy Math can help me start!
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, my strengths would be:
- insightful knowledge and help with a selected subject
- tips and tricks to remember difficult concepts
- being a patient guide to help those reach their goals
- being persistent in times where failure is dominant
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think that the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to show them their worth, learning-wise. There are so many people who convince themselves that they are incapable of obtaining good marks, setting them up for instant failure. A good tutor is one who can identify strengths as well as weaknesses, and rather than use the weaknesses as weights, use them as motivation to achieve one's goal. I feel that having a motivated, energetic tutor will purely reflect directly onto their students!
