What do I enjoy most about tutoring? π
Challenge and innovation are the two aspects that attract me towards tutoring. Tutoring has its own type of challenge, ranging from concepts themself being challenging and making the student understand concepts. This forces tutors to always build their knowledge and adopt innovative teaching techniques with time to enhance student engagement towards their academics. This idea of self-development and building new skills makes this role enjoyable as Iβm always motivated and proactive to upgrade myself. A major strength of mine as a tutor is the energy I show during my lessons. My passion for teaching increases my motivation, making the lesson more flexible, friendly, and innovative. I always like challenging students, so using my creativity I develop my own questions from time to time and expose students to something different. Iβm also very adaptable and have the ability to tailor my teaching methods to overcome the weaknesses of a student. Alongside, I also have the ability to mentor students, giving them study tips to bring about efficiency in their study patterns.Most important things I can do for a student π
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is simply to understand them properly and develop a connection with them. Understanding the student will help identify the studentβs strengths and weaknesses assisting tutors to create targetted sessions. This can also help tutors understand the working habits of the student, giving them the opportunity to mentor the student to provide that extra mental and academic support overall. The stronger the bond is between a tutor and a student, the better the experience will become from both sides, making sessions enjoyable yet productive.

The student is able to understand everything in the lesson however isn't practicing questions and as such, isn't able to recall and apply previously learned knowledge to the new concepts. As such, the student is struggling to solve questions on his own and requires hints most of the times. However, getting into the habit of doing homework regularly will make him more confident for solving the questions.

The basics need to improve as we are facing basic content gaps in mostly all the topics. The student is able to pick up challenging concepts however he is unable to reach the final solution as he is not strong in his basics. However, we are working towards that too.

It is coming to notice again and again that his basics on algebra is weak. The student is also not completing HW to the best of his ability which is impacting his ability to retain the content. Thus, practicing questions after tutoring lessons will be very beneficial for the student as they will be able to easily retain the concepts.

The student clearly understood everything covered in the lesson. In fact, he was taking initiative to identify patterns and trends and state conclusions. Overall no improvements are required for what was covered today, however, the student should maintain separate books for tuition and school.
