What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love to inspire children to achieve their best in many ways. It is very important that children know that there is someone who listens and cares for them. I assure them that a bad grade does not define who they are, and if they study hard, they will understand the subject and get better grades. I also tell them that they can ask me the same question hundreds of times if that is what is going to take for them to understand the subject better.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Having knowledge and expertise in science and businesses subjects is my biggest strength. My communication skills and understanding of the emotional world of children are my greatest strengths as a teacher. One of my strengths, however, is that I am constantly reflecting on my practice and looking for ways to improve.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Truly personalise the learning. Incorporate connections to the student's interests. Teach to the student's strengths. I will be a good listener to better understand students’ misconceptions and errors. The patient is probably one of the most important characteristics of a tutor. I never act annoyed that the student does not know something. Even if they ask the most basic question, I always demonstrate my patience.
