What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love being able to help children learn. Watching them grow and understand topics, and seeing their joy whenever they solve a problem, is the most rewarding feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Children need to trust their tutor. Learning a difficult subject can impact the child and their self-esteem, so being able to communicate with a tutor is important. I always aim to make students feel safe and capable, even when they get an answer wrong.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for a student, is to build up their self-esteem, simultaneously to their knowledge and skill. By helping them understand problems, concepts and new topics, students gain confidence in the classroom. In the situation that they aren't understanding, they need support to encourage them to consistently apply themselves to a problem, without becoming discouraged.
