What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy teaching and learning in a close one on one setting as I think it allows for the most depth to one’s knowledge. I’d attribute this revelation and passion to my teachers whom I had a great relationship with, often opting to regularly attend their morning or afternoon tutorials, spend lunchtime with them to further my studies or study independently in the library. I’d love to be able to foster and inspire this same mindset in any student I have the privilege to tutor with my positive and encouraging attitude and see them grow.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have verified from experience that I am patient and have a genuine desire to help students understand, learn and excel in their studies, being a student who used to underperform but with diligence and support managed to grow and graduate as a ‘high achiever.’ I am also organised, reliable, easily able to be contacted and communicate with.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think it is integral that a tutor is able to facilitate a nurturing study environment for their student by encouraging them to feel confident enough to ask and every question they might have to ensure students are able to thoroughly comprehend content. I believe this allows students to perform well, as from first hand experience, I think students need to be able to be proactive and self motivated in seeking feedback, additional study resources, engaging in learning, establishing study routines and in general having a drive to reach their full potential
