What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The one thing I enjoy the most about the process of learning is when everything clicks, and all the different concepts and bits of content suddenly mesh together in one instant. However, getting to that point can be strenuous and at times confusing due to a lack of direction.
The thing I enjoy most about tutoring is providing that direction and setting the foundations in the student's knowledge so they can reach that point of everything making sense much faster.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I think my strengths as a tutor come from being patient. The process of learning is unique to each student, and spending the time to learn what the student's strengths are, as well as what gaps in their knowledge exist are crucial to designing a flow of content for them to properly understand the topic at hand. That's why being patient is so important because we cannot rush that learning process because each student will learn at their own pace.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The end goal of tutoring is to show the student a different way of looking at things and to transfer skills that would help them in the subject being taught, but also other subjects. Skills like problem-solving, and conceptualizing problems as smaller problems is a universal skill that can be applied to all sorts of topics. Helping them find their way of learning is an arduous journey, but is important in helping the student become self sufficien t
