My Strengths as Tutor 💪

With my experience in my first practicum, I devised many strategies to explain difficult mathematical concepts in a simple way for students of all abilities to understand. I am also able to tailor my teaching to suit each student's style of learning. My patience and determination to achieve the best possible outcome for all my learners has been commended. I have an extensive knowledge of the BOS Syllabus and its relevant outcomes as well as effective strategies to teach each outcome. I am also able to speak Cantonese which can be a benefit for students whose first language is not English.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe that the most important thing a tutor can provide for their students is their motivation and passion to achieve their students' fullest potential. I also believe that it is important for a tutor to provide a positive learning experience for their student, where they are not only learning the content, but enjoys the process. I believe that a tutor needs to find the things which motivate and interests the student and tailor their lessons around that. Finally, I believe a tutor needs to have a genuine interest in achieving the best possible results for their students.
