I enjoy building a student’s confidence in their studies and supporting them in overcoming challenges. It gives me a sense of accomplishment that I have been able to contribute to another individual’s success.

I have a strong work ethic and time management skills. This is essential to planning and managing lessons as a tutor. Additionally, I am a great listener that is always open to feedback and the needs of others.

First and foremost, a significant part of a tutor’s job is to provide a safe space for students to think for themselves, by being empathetic and patient. Students should feel comfortable to make mistakes, learn from them and improve. Giving students room to think independently without stress and pressure will allow them to not only develop their problem solving skills, but also grow confident in their abilities. Furthermore, one of the most important things a tutor can do for their student is to observe how the student learns, and find the right strategies that can be applied to their studies
