What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find tutoring extremely rewarding. You get the opportunity to enhance a student's school education and help them reach their academic goals.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I take time to understand the student's strengths and weaknesses with regards to the particular subject or their learning abilities in general, and tailor my approach towards them. For example, if a student is a more visual learner, I will teach by telling stories in detail or provide more visual aids. If the student is a active learner, I will test the student's understanding more frequently via questions. In addition I try to ensure the student understands the subject matter conceptually rather than a rote learning approach.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I try to make learning fun for the student without comprising on the quality of the teaching. I like to set short-term and long-term academic goals with the student and build achievable and healthy study habits to ensure the student can meet those goals.
