No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Abbotsford chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Abbotsford, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
She continues to further develop these learning strategies. She is quite advanced in the following techniques, talking aloud, pen to paper, confidence, note taking, good corrections. However, she does have a slight tendency to rely on rules which we can rectify easily.
Emma stays attentive throughout the entire tutoring session. If Emma puts more time into studying/homework she will improve on her test results. Emma needs to put more time into her timetables
-Flynn seems to be doing well in general. We've mostly been doing Topic reviews lately to prepare for recently completed tests. He seems to not be receiving back his test papers which is a bit of a shame as he's told me of some of his concerns. He has a bit of trouble explaining the Qs he had problems with so having those tests would be so valuable. -Note-taking. -Reviewing previous topics These need to become habitual
Ara and Steven are getting on well. I think it has helped just having someone to ask questions of outside the classroom setting. Also getting an alternate explanations is helping her really click on concepts. She is well advanced on her assignment which she has worked through with Steven. Seems to be more confident to back herself as well.
We have been working with Emily since last year and so we are very happy with her.
Nicholas, our tutor, has been absolutely amazing and has a wonderful influence on on Mike. And you service is exceptional!
