No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Mortlake chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Mortlake, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Yusef is growing confidence day by day. He has shown good progress during Quadratic equations chapter. He is required to avoid lazy thinking and gain confidence in rules of quadratic equations Back tracking and practicing previous examples is a must to maintain consistency towards year 11.
She has a good attitude and puts effort in during the lesson. Sometimes doesn't complete homework but unsure if due to difficulty or lack of time. Occasionally goes off on tangents but for minimal time.
Time tables are still a bit of an issue. He had trouble with fractions when we first started but is making reasonable progress with that so far. It will take time for him to fully grasp it. Division is an issue that we are working on right now, but this stems back from his knowledge of his time tables.
Lauren has only had a couple of sessions with Nirvan but the benefits were instant & she has really valued his tutoring which has given her more confidence in her capabilities as well. Nirvan seems an exceptional young man & his polite manner & tutoring style are a credit to him. We have been very pleased with the quality, prompt & ease of arrangements & would like to utilise your services again next year.
So far we are pretty happy with Daniel and his enthusiastic and focused approach. I think Cleo feels very comfortable with him and he has been able to help her manage her work load and advancing slowly to re gain her confidence. He has a lovely mature manner, a very likeable guy.
I have loved the opportunity to work for EzyMath over this past year and have really valued the experiences and skills I have developed over my time as a tutor.
