Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.
Want to find out how? We can allocate a local Concord chemistry tutor within a day or two. They reach out to you and set up a first lesson whenever you and your child can make it.
If you like the tutor's approach you keep working with them. If you are not 100% satisfied - we consider it a trial lesson and find a better match. It's that simple!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Aseel has a strong grasp of the talking aloud and pen to paper strategies, as well as an exceptional understanding of transfer skills. One of her strongest points is her ability to apply lessons she's learned in one area of mathematics to other areas. She is currently improving on her back checking. Aseel needs to be more organized with her notes, so she can access important lessons more easily.
Piper generally has a good work ethic, although she is not always consistent in completing the homework that I assign to her. It is important for Piper to complete the homework, as continuing to practice the techniques she has learned in our session will mean she can remember how to do them when she next approaches a problem. This was most obvious when Piper was unable to remember how to complete a problem at the start of our 4th session which she was completely competent in by the end of our 3rd week.
Clocks- the student faced major difficulties in this topic. However, with a lot of practice questions and understanding, he now feels more confident with the topic. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division- the student is quite clear with the four operations. The only place he gets quite stuck in are word problems, which we are practising right now.
It's my first time ever tutoring primary school and high school students formally. I admit I was quite nervous at the beginning and I thought the parents would have been highly demanding. I found that the parents are extremely cooperative and the whole work environment is very flexible. I devolped my Communication skills, especially with younger kids and their parents. I believe in this era, face-to-face conversation is overlooked by many thanks to the advanced technologies but the tutoring experience strengthen my belief that face-to-face communication is still the best way to communicate and share ideas.
Things have been fantastic, Anisa is such a help and we are so happy with her. Christian is going very well, we are so glad we found you guys.
Thank you to Ezy Math Tutoring for providing an excellent service and an excellent tutor. My child needed support in VCE English and History. I contacted Ezy Math Tutoring after researching tutoring services on the Internet. The tutor organised brilliant lessons. She encouraged and supported my child through her final year of secondary school. As a result, my child got an ATAR score needed for the course she wanted to do and will be attending her preferred university.
