Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through HSC with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Ashfield to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Ashfield chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
We have been focusing on our fundamentals of math, with strong real world applications. Notably time and money. A good exercise we have been using is counting coins aloud, as well as regularly telling the time.
Amelia needs to improve on her attitude towards her work in class She needs to improve her efforts during class hours, but I'm very pleased with her efforts on her homework questions Amelia needs to improve on her pen to paper skills, as it's an essential skill to have for her future studies. Making sure that she transfers her thought process onto the paper she's working with.
Kai's transfer skills and rule dependency still have room to grow, but we are working on those at the moment and we are working through more specific strategies to remind him of transfer skills, which will aid in his avoidance of rule dependency. We are still working on translating understanding of concepts into test results. Giving more specific strategies is improving this and will aid in his yearly exams.
We were very satisfied with Tammy and have recommended ezymathtutoring to other people.
I just wanted to thank you and my son's tutor, Faraz, for all of your work with him over the last couple of months. I have found Aiden to be much calmer and more focused about the subject since Faraz started tutoring him, which has been fantastic. Aiden found Faraz extremely helpful in guiding his revision and assisting him with the components that he was struggling with.
It seems Gillian is really benefiting greatly from the tutoring and I must say that Joyce is a super star! She has somehow turned Gillian 180 degrees in her attitude to maths.
