"Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime". This pretty much sums up our maths tutoring philosophy. Year after year students are bombarded with an increasing amount of content. Most students are always in catch up mode, trying to keep up with the class, cramming in some revision time right before exams, feeling anxious and unconfident. Of course it is possible to do well this way, but it is like using a hammer to cut down a tree instead of an axe. There's a...
There's a better way to succeed academically. This is where we come in. Ezy Math tutors break the cycle of inefficient learning by showing students not just WHAT to study but also HOW to study.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Fairy good at talking aloud, reading the question for a better understand, occasionally needs to be prompted. Needs to focus on what the question is asking rather then assuming, and guessing what the answer is. He has shown a better understanding in basic fraction rules which assist in calculations.
Yasmin has an excellent attitude towards class. Yasmin makes a very good effort to do well in every class. Yasmin usually has excellent work habits, but has been forgetting to bring her past worksheets and her exercise book from school for me to see what she has been up to. I encourage her to make an effort to not forget these because they are important for me to help her on the topics she is doing in class.
Lacks a few of the faster strategies/tricks for mental arithmetic, and these could definitely help with certain questions. Some small problems with the mental arithmetic side with things like factorisation and times tables, e.g. knowing the square numbers well. These are all things that probably haven't seemed too important but can definitely speed up the solving of problems and this is very useful in exams.
Thank you very much to Jason, he was a great tutor and an incredibly nice person, we appreciate his efforts.
Dana was fantastic, so good that I passed my exam and got 98 percent in maths. Thank you.
I would be more than happy to be part of Ezy Math Tutoring again to continue motivating, encouraging and making more students feel that mathematics are easy and fun. I will never forget the day - the day before I left Sydney - when I went to one of my students' house to say good bye. That day, Mattheu let me know that he had been upgraded in his maths class, from 4th to 3rd level. When we started our tutoring sessions, he was on the 6th level of his maths course, and during the first two months, every day I asked him how everything at school had been that day, he replied "it was boring". Over that year that we were having our maths classes, he was being upgraded from 6th, to 5th, then 4th and finally 3rd that day when I went to his place to say good bye. Before I left his place, he said to me "Andres, I want to be a doctor, I want to study a PhD, like you... thank you". That very moment, when you are able to help others, contribute to society, etc, is simply priceless. Being a tutor was a great experience and I am still missing my students.
