Students are constantly catching up while demands become more and more complex. Meanwhile, parents struggle to be there through it all.
Sometimes all it takes is to keep an eye on your child's progress - are they turning in their assignments and are they meeting deadlines. Some students don't need more.
However, sooner or later most students tend to struggle with chemistry. And once they hit that wall it's important to react right away, before the tasks pile up and become unmanageable.
That's where we come in.
If you are looking for a local Attadale chemistry tutor, we can assist. The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
To avoid careless mistakes, it would be best if Jasmine practice underlining/highlighting keywords in the question. For example, when answering questions involving perimeter and area, she needs to establish whether the question is asking for area or perimeter and then use the appropriate formula.
Although sometimes Liam gets board during the session, he quickly responds very positively when asked to try and focus Liam tries his best to stay engaged and focused during the session Generally Liam is reluctant to try to solve a problem on his own which can be a problem at times. He rarely volunteers a solution and can get sidetracked sometimes
Will initially told me he was only having trouble in algebra, but it seems he also has knowledge gaps in other areas as well, such as geometry. In future lessons I plan to quiz him on all the topics and find out about all the areas he has gaps in. Will did have very little understanding of algebra, but we have now covered most of the content in algebra and he seems to be doing well. However, a random surprise quiz in geometry showed that he may be having trouble in other areas as well.
Melissa was wonderful & we look forward to seeing her again in a fortnight. She was so patient, encouraging, gentle & knowledgeable. Grace felt so special & clever afterwards she can't want to see her again.
We think Ingrid is fantastic. She and Elizabeth have a wonderful rapport and we can already see improvements in Elizabeth's work.
The sessions are best summed up by Sasha herself after Tiasha left last Monday afternoon - "Mum do we get to fill in a questionnaire about Tiasha because I think she is a fantastic teacher. She's introducing me to new things and explains things in a way that I understand." - we are very happy so far.
