Chemistry can seem abstract, learning about elements and matter, how equilibrium occurs and how chemical systems react. No wonder students get discouraged.
All it takes for a student to go from a mild distaste for chemistry to understanding what is scribbled in the textbook is someone to point out what to avoid and where to put in that extra hour of revision. It's like with any problem situation in schooling and even in their personal life, students need to know about using effective strategies. Then all you need is persistence, staying on task until you reach your goal.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Angelica has been improving. She generally had good note-taking skills, and applies pen to paper. She also understands that it is okay to be wrong. She has been correcting her work before I see it, which is great, and this saves time in class and allows us to work on the issues we have.
Shy individual. Shows willingness to learn 100%. She put in a lot of effort. I believe when she feels more confident, she will ask me for more help. She doesn't do a lot of working out. This is something I want her to work on. That way, she can back track to see where she went wrong.
There aren't any large gaps in her previous knowledge at the moment but some fundamental skills that are important further in maths need some bushing up. No problem areas to complain about.
Everything is going well. Lizzy and I are very happy with Michael and pleased with her results so far.
We really like Syed and Lucy is working well with him. Her confidence is starting to grow with her times tables which is great to see.
I was very happy with the staff at your head office. My my initial contact person was Marcus, and he was extremely professional and thorough in explaining the services EZY MATHS provide and he reassured me of the the level of tutoring that the company provides and that they will endeavour to match a tutor for my 15 year olds math's concerns. The thing I liked the most is that at no time did I feel pressured and he made it sound so easy; Which it was. Thank you, and I will be using you guys again when the time arises.
