Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests. Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests.
Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Ardross biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Ardross. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Learning strategies primarily implemented were pen to paper (practical solving of math problems), back checking (recalling of general equations to solve various related problems), ok to be wrong (understanding possible pit falls in problem solving) and avoid rule dependence (trying to get comprehension of how formulas were derived and not simply memorizing them).
Student has responded well to my assignments, been curious to know more and put in extra efforts with me. But I'm a bit disappointed with the student's mom over the unprofessional way she has withheld the tutorials with a formal advance notification to the tutor. Significantly put in by tutor and the student Good and regular
Again, he seems to think he knows most things and completes the work without any troubles. While he does know a lot, accepting and knowing he has room for improvement will help greatly He did identify some of his problem areas this month and they weer targeted which I believe helped. Depth of knowledge - has some trouble applying known formulas and techniques to more complex yet similar questions i.e. Exam style questions.
Everything is running smoothly with Anja she is a great communicator and it has made life easier.
Thomas Attard has been great, Max likes him and seems to be making progress and we are happy with the service.
We are extremely pleased with Hilario and would be happy to recommend him to anyone. Alison is a bit picky and Maths is a subject she hates but feedback from her has been really positive. She commented this morning that if her school teachers were like him, she wouldn't have been having issues with Maths.
