It takes a lot to do well in biology. Moving up the curriculum can be a challenge and if students don't jump in with both feet it's easy to fall behind. Catching up while others move on to a completely different area can cause a serious drop in motivation. While most students manage to stay afloat and get the grades they want, it doesn't have to be such an uphill battle.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I have found that a more dynamic style of teaching audrey has better suited her learning. Tailoring work and lessons to assist her school work, as her school work is already very demanding for her. Furthermore the lessons show slight insights to future topics which would've been acquired through worksheets provided by tutoring centres/worksheets
Carmen is constantly finishing her homework. She demonstrates a very creative and positive mindset in the lessons. Carmen has also demonstrated good arithmetic operation skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing).
Isabella still struggles with certain concepts such as simplifying fractions and harder word problems, but she is working very hard in lessons and in her own time to fix this gap in her knowledge.
Flynn is going well with his tutor. We have had 2 sessions and they have been productive. Thanks for your service.
Finn is responding well to Anthony's tutoring, thank you. Anthony is kind, knowledgeable and has a lovely manner. Finn is feeling more confident and we will be continuing with Anthony's weekly tutorials.
We are so happy and impressed with Pariese. She has already made a great rapport with Charlie, which was our initial concern. She is both both professional and engaging with an obvious passion for maths. She has given us feedback relating to Charlie's learning style and is active in finding strategies to suit him. The fact that he looks forward to his lesson, is a testament in itself. She is always punctual and happy to have a brief at the end of each session. I have spoken to Pariese about Charlie needing long term tutoring, to which she agreed.
