There are many nuances to learning biology, and many students figure it out too late to help them with their grades. Working with great biology tutors in Mount Warrigal, it's something we've seen time and time again.
Learning biology is cumulative, you can't really skip any steps because the concepts are intricately interconnected. Before you can take on complex concepts and processes, you need to understand the basics. With the help of a tutor most students find it easier to learn how to use drawings and diagrams, read with purpose, utilize lab notes
and use the knowledge in new situations so it really sticks.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Daniel improved in his talking aloud and pen to paper strategies in the second lesson as compared to the first. I could also see that he was more confident in solving problems in the second class since he had practiced before the class. However, I would like if he focused on his back checking and self-questioning skills. I will try to focus on that in the upcoming lessons.
Chris is a focused student during our lessons, he does his class assigned maths homework and he practised diligently during exam preparation. Chris clearly wants to succeed and is capable of the effort to do so. Chris does need to improve the organisation of his study habits and class notes. Re-writing his class notes and storing them in an accessible place for easy reference will aid his self-study and maths practice.
My plan for the next month is to continue with the phonic awareness and blending letters/sounds, aligning to the same content covered in the intensive classes at school, therefore reinforcing and developing reading and spelling of words.

Henry was very happy with Hayden's style of tutoring. He found him clear and concise in the way he explained methods, and was teaching him the same way his teacher is at school. Whilst I was listening in the background I could hear that Hayden was very encouraging towards Henry which I'm sure gave him some confidence to tackle the next equation. I know that Hayden will leave more and more homework going forward, he was keen to get to know Henry as a person, identify his strengths and weaknesses first.
Chris is actually very happy with Shehara. He seems motivated. He's had two sessions with her and seems to like it so all good here.
Ally's tutoring is going well and Gopi is very nice. Ally's report was very positive and that makes me happy. I have spoken to Gopi about Ally's progress and informed her that we would like to extend Alexandra in Maths.
