Chemistry can seem a bit technical. It's all abstract formulas and content that seems impossible to learn and barely manageable to memorise. The material keeps piling up and how are students supposed to truly learn anything when they're constantly missing something and falling behind?
And it's not only about the grades. Sure, students who struggle with chemistry want to pass that test and get their grades up. It's usually their only end goal and that's completely understandable. However, we've found that once students start catching up and chemistry doesn't seem like such an enormous hurdle, their self-confidence improves as well.
When they have someone to guide them, make sense of the clutter of information and demands, students tend to struggle less in other areas as well. Your child could feel less anxious about tests and their performance, learn how to tackle tough situations and become more independent, all with the help of a local Beverly Hills chemistry tutor.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Carly's learning strategies are as solid as always! She has begun to share her thoughts aloud whilst working through some problems, however I would appreciate a touch more of this. Her otherwise strong study skills are very much reflected in the grades she has earned so far this term!
Amber always puts in a lot of effort to our lessons and the work I assign,. I have noticed a significant increase in the last month or so in preparation for her exams. If this is conducted more continuously this may assist in minimising the anxiety experienced.
Rozhina has improved her understanding of ratios, fractions, decimals and percentages but she does require a lot of assistance in understanding the differences between adding and multiplying ratios as well as converting fractions to decimals and vice versa. Other topic areas in maths are quite familiar to Rozhina but it will definitely help me with future lessons.
We are very happy with the way James is tutoring Julian. Julian is responding well and is comfortable around him being of similar age and James hasn't long completed his HSC. James is passionate about tutoring and is going out of his way to bring out the best in him and to reach his full potential.
We are very happy with how things are going. Luke is a great tutor. He explains things in a way Hannah can understand and if she doesnt he is very patient and tries it another way till she does. Thank you
Zoe is great, Dylan really likes her and feels comfortable around her which is great. as you said, we wont be seeing actual result right away but I think its going to work :)
