No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Bexley chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Bexley, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Hishaam is back checking his work more and noticing his own errors and correcting them himself. He puts pen to paper more and more which reduces his errors. He will often explain the topic back to me to ensure that he has the correct understanding and then ask for a re explanation if he still doesn't unerstand
Dylan's attitude is fantastic. We have built a good rapport, and I have seen a huge increase in the amount of effort he puts into his work outside of our tutorial sessions. His work habits are continually improving, and it has been a joy to watch.
Steph needs to improve her basic number knowledge (times tables, addition facts, subtraction facts etc.). In addition we are focusing on her problem solving and confidence since these are crucial for her success moving forward.
We are very happy with Anh and her tutoring of Lana. We are taking a break over the school holidays and public holiday but will be back into it in a couple of weeks. Anh was very generous with her time leading up to Lana's last exam and although not anticipated given the short lead up time, her results improved. It's been a great decision for us to set the foundations for Lana with senior maths.
Afra has met with Jasmine once so far as we have had the holidays. I think it went really well and Jasmine is actually looking froward to her next lesson this Saturday.
Lazarus is very happy with Joseph. I think Joseph will be a good fit for Lazarus' learning needs.
