Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through HSC with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Banksia to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Banksia chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.
Have a question? We are happy to help.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
We work through problems aloud, get her to write down each step before moving onto the next part of the problem. Need to work on tidiness with her work, being able to read what she has written and ensure there is clarity of the work if we ever need to go back and use another part of the problem.
He has a reasonable attitude towards learning, which can be seen as he has always done his homework that I set him. There is effort there, however it would be better if he put more effort into his school maths work, and generally more effort towards learning. He has done all my homework that I have sent him. However it seems that he doesn't really do his work from school, which he should be doing himself.
Several gaps have been found in Chloe's understanding of concepts that have been previously taught, these include equation structure, raising numbers to powers, algebraic manipulation to rearrange equations, negative numbers and working with fractions. With exception of the previously mention gaps in understandings, no other problems have been found.
Lauren has only had a couple of sessions with Nirvan but the benefits were instant & she has really valued his tutoring which has given her more confidence in her capabilities as well. Nirvan seems an exceptional young man & his polite manner & tutoring style are a credit to him. We have been very pleased with the quality, prompt & ease of arrangements & would like to utilise your services again next year.
So far we are pretty happy with Daniel and his enthusiastic and focused approach. I think Cleo feels very comfortable with him and he has been able to help her manage her work load and advancing slowly to re gain her confidence. He has a lovely mature manner, a very likeable guy.
I have loved the opportunity to work for EzyMath over this past year and have really valued the experiences and skills I have developed over my time as a tutor.
