Even if they've started out well, tackled science in lower grades with a good attitude, even if they've made a switch to Year 11 Chemistry easily, more often than not students hit a wall when it comes to Year 12 chemistry. This is when they need all the support they can get.
If you've already thought about tutoring and are looking for someone local, a chemistry tutor in Bracken Ridge, we can help.
We are working with local tutors who can assist your child through high school chemistry. Whatever it is, be it going from inorganic to organic chemistry or simply being asked to understand experiments when they still don't have a grasp of the necessary basics. Tutoring may well be the best way to bridge the gap, especially when it's done right.
This is what we offer.
Conveniently, in your home or anywhere else, you choose the time and place. There are no hidden fees, just a simple hourly rate, and if the first lesson isn't what you've hoped for we won't charge you. Instead, we look for another chemistry tutor in Bracken Ridge who is a better match and more than happy to help.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Maia applies a majority of these strategies during her learning. She has the habit of questioning herself or me whenever a concept is unclear. She notes down points that will be useful for her when she is studying. She actively listens and understands what is being reviewed. She doesn't depend on any given formulas and doesn't have the habit of lazy thinking. She makes her way through problems quite carefully and quite confidently.
Effort has been adequate but in order to do well in the final exam Amilia must get herself to the point where she can attempt past exam papers under exam conditions at home. Then afterwards we can focus on her weaker areas during the class.
- Zack still doesn't know the times tables. He needs to practice and learn them because that will help him grasp what's going on in class much easier. - We need to work on more than one digit operations, especially multiplications and divisions. He struggles to stay focused and follow the necessary steps. During our tutoring sessions it was like he had never been taught how to do it and we had to go through the whole process of learning it.
Aiden is really happy with Faraz. He felt a bit awkward the first week but the interactions were much better the second week. Aiden finds it very useful because he needs guided revision (it's not necessarily about learning the content). Definitely a good investment!
The tutoring process through Ezy Math follows predetermined guidelines and criteria that enables a rewarding experience for both the tutor and student and provides adequate assistance for steady student learning.
Nohemi is great. A very professional tutor with an easy going personality. Brayden has found her lessons quite helpful and has no issues with her teaching methods. As school returns from holidays this week we will see how successful tutoring has been (to-date). If nothing else, I do believe Nohemi has increased his confidence in Algebra.
