No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Brendale chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Brendale, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Max's formatting skills have increased greatly since we started, his work is legible and as such makes it easier for him to make his ideas known, even if incorrect it allows for consequential marking. His corrections of his work are also a lot neater instead of scribbling his work out he puts a neat line through. This allows Max's work and ideas much easier to follow, and less intimidating for a teacher/exam marker to read.
Chloe's attitude has gotten slightly better, as I think the current topics we're working on are ones that she understands but still finds challenging, so it's more exciting for her during lessons. She's been a bit better with homework, she tends to only leave the ones she doesn't understand behind, which is okay because it means that I haven't explained it well enough.
Madeline is having some trouble with new worded problems which she's just been introduced to. With some more practice on similar questions I'm sure she'll definitely get the hang of it. She's also starting to forget a few of the harder times tables, so more practice at home would be really beneficial.
We are very happy with Terence , James seems to be making good progress at getting the basics of his 3 unit course. Terence is very calm, methodical and can simplify maths steps/working and James is responding very well to Terence's teaching style! Terence so far is very knowledgeable on the maths topics James is covering in class. Terence has also been very flexible & accommodating with postponing/adding lessons as required which we are very appreciative. We have been very pleased with our experience with tutoring so far!
Cohen has been very good and encouraging. I feel that Olivia is starting to feel more confident with her maths. Thanks.
Everything is going well with Warit. Evan is happy with him so far. I trust that will continue. He's comfortable to ask if he doesn't understand something. Warit has given Evan some good maths tips with his times tables that Evan has understood.
