All students need to go from struggling to catching up is the right kind of help at the right moment. The same goes for students who are on top of their assignments but never quite excel at science.
Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Burleigh Waters chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Burleigh Waters chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Cordelia has good self direction with work and is aware of areas she need help with. She is good at talking through her own thinking and working through the problem both aloud and on paper. She is also proactive in writing down key elements in each subject. She is too quick to assume she doesn't understand the problem at hand, even if prior she displayed an understanding.
Lexi is always enthusiastic and bubbly during lessons. Overall, she shows a good attitude towards her school work. Lexi has greatly improved in her problem solving and this is due to the increased effort that she has been putting in to her lessons. Lexi's work habits are improving however she does need more development in completing her homework in time. Towards the end of August, her homework completion has greatly improved and we want to keep this at the same standard for the future months.
Lara's algebra skills are still not at the same level as the rest of her work, which can sometimes be an issue. Lara's time management in exams is something I think we should work on. Her results in her upcoming exam will give us a starting point to work from. She also seems to suffer from performance anxiety at times, which we should try to work on so it doesn't become a problem in the future.
Alec is really enjoying his sessions with Matt. He finds Matt funny and easy to get along with. Alec tells me he has already started learning things he didn't know. We are very happy so far with Matt.
James has started very promisingly with Daniel which is great and I think even in the short space of time they have been together James is beginning to feel more confident with Daniel and his Maths in general.
Miranda is a wonderful, professional and patient tutor. The first day Marcus met her he opened up to her and feels really comfortable. He is so happy and enjoys tutoring.I think Miranda is a great fit for Marcus .
