No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Burwood East chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Burwood East, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
I give him worksheets and talk him through how to do it first then watch him try. When he struggles, I come into help him and I find this being a great technique because he stays motivated. He likes to work things out in his head but often get confused. So I ask him to work out loud or on paper and it is much more effective.
Hafsa has been having good attitude in learning, such as being willing to learn new knowledge, understanding it is okay to be wrong. I think Hafsa need to be more patient to practice basic problems even they are already too easy for her. But practicing basic problems enable her to refresh previous concepts and strategies, which she will probably forget sometimes. Good work habits. Only thing need to be improved is her organizing skill, as sometime she lost her notes.
She wanted to take two weeks off during school holidays. She needs more practise with her basic skills and problem solving in partocular as she gets confused when reading a statement question
