Even if they've started out well, tackled science in lower grades with a good attitude, even if they've made a switch to Year 11 Chemistry easily, more often than not students hit a wall when it comes to Year 12 chemistry. This is when they need all the support they can get.
If you've already thought about tutoring and are looking for someone local, a chemistry tutor in Blackburn, we can help.
We are working with local tutors who can assist your child through high school chemistry. Whatever it is, be it going from inorganic to organic chemistry or simply being asked to understand experiments when they still don't have a grasp of the necessary basics. Tutoring may well be the best way to bridge the gap, especially when it's done right.
This is what we offer.
Conveniently, in your home or anywhere else, you choose the time and place. There are no hidden fees, just a simple hourly rate, and if the first lesson isn't what you've hoped for we won't charge you. Instead, we look for another chemistry tutor in Blackburn who is a better match and more than happy to help.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Ranvir's has consistently used learning strategies including talking aloud, back checking, pen to paper, self questioning, ok to be wrong, confidence. We still need to look through correcting his work and checking for any mistakes, and some formatting skills
I was happy to hear Josh saying, "I feel more confident in my times table now". I can see his effort in doing homework most of the times, which is great. Overall, I will be giving him worksheets to practice on every tutoring sessions. If he does the homework with minimal or no help from adults, we can expect quite good improvement in his Maths.
We are still working on essay writing as this is an area that can only keep getting better but Trinity understands the basic concepts and we are building on these so she keeps improving. Mathematics is looking good so far, so at the moment we are just revising what she is learning in class and doing really well.
Thanks Josh has already increased test results from barely passing to 88%. Exams in the next week will be another challenge. Looking forward to seeing Harry tonight. Thanks regards Sharon.
I'm really pleased with Kamran's work with Tyler, he has shown a noticeable improvement in his attitude to maths and his effort and understanding. Tyler is really enjoying working with Kamran , his style of treating him as an equal in his learning journey has been of real benefit.
Patrick is great, he is working so well with Drew. He has already given Drew the confidence he needs to be able to learn. Thank you for sending Patrick.
