No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Carramar chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Carramar, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
While learning rules is often helpful for answering questions correctly, Tristan should make sure not to become too dependent on learning rules and should strive to understand the reasons or concepts behind the rules.
She gives every question her best attempt and takes on all my advice very well which is good to see. She gives all her work full effort and I commend her for that. She doesn't repeat mistakes and this shows that she can really take in information once it is explained to her. It would help her to maintain a neat book of all the questions that we do together, so she can go over the working clearly when she revises on her own.
- writing: i'm currently trying to get him to write a narrative in small increments a week as I teach him different skills to improve - needs improvement with writing - needs to get into the habit of checking over his work because as i mentioned before, I get him to redo questions he got wrong and he's able to identify his mistake and get the right answer straight away
Start up with Phi has been smooth, so far Tharanya's feed back to us has also been positive. She is understanding the teaching method used by Phi and feels comfortable asking him questions.
We are very happy and have been very impressed by Kamran. He has a really lovely nature, is kind, encouraging and very professional. Daneeka finds him very easy to follow and understand and really enjoys her lesson with him every week and already is improving. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a wonderful maths tutor.
My son Joshua had Tu as a tutor and he had great results. He responded well to Tu as a teacher, his marks improved and he gained confidence through the tutoring.
