Does your child need help with physics?
Maybe they need an extra push to reach that grade or they want to go from keeping up to excelling at science. Whatever the reason, we can match you with the right local Clayfield physics tutors who understand your child's needs and knows how to get them where they want to be.
Most students start out interested in physics and perform fairly well on tests. But once the concepts become more and more complex most parents notice a change. It's when students start believing they don't "have what it takes" and their self-confidence starts to plummet.
Parents usually try to intervene, remind their child that geniuses are not born, that they work hard and face obstacles like anyone else, and for some students, that's enough. Others, however, need more support.
That's where we step in!
We find tutors and organise one-on-one physics tutoring in Clayfield, at your home or any other place that works for you. We work around your schedule.
When it comes to payment we like to keep it simple. You pay a simple hourly rate, no extra or hidden fees.
And what if, for whatever reason, the perfect match doesn't happen on the first try? That's completely fine, it happens!
In case you are not completely happy with the first lesson, it comes as a free trial. We simply keep looking for another tutor, someone better suited to help your child.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Glen is slowly improving his use of learning strategies. He now often puts pen to paper when working out a complex problem, understands that it is okay to be wrong and seems to learn from it, is more confident when he answers questions, and is thinking about questions for longer before asking for help.
Mason has been completing homework questions on time and to a good standard and this demonstrates a great attitude towards learning. He is encouraged to use working out methods from the tutoring lesson when trying to attempt homework questions.
I believe that Jackson is not far behind where he should be in maths but may lack confidence in his abilities. Jackson can be over reliant on using his calculator sometimes for simple sums but this is not a big issue.
Rohini had really got Alex over the line and has boosted her confidence greatly. Instead of a low D she is now a mid range B and is feeling a lot happier.
Tutor sessions with Hamish has been good. Tevita advised he feels a lot more confident with his maths. Sessions with Hamish have definitely been beneficial for Tevita leading up to his Exam, which was today.
The tutoring is going well. Amy has told me that she is already understanding more and it's helping.
